The issue of incinerators in Albania has become a scandal. Persons declared wanted, ministers and general secretaries of institutions, arrested.

The Elbasan incinerator, which includes Stela Gugallja, Klodian Zoto and Mirel Mërtiri, which is called the "brain" of the incinerators by SPAK and the Special Prosecutor's Office, then in Fier, where Klodian Zoto's "ITS" company appears, which is also the company that founded "Integrated Energy" in the Netherlands, a subject that came to Albania and took over the Tirana landfill for 30 years and then changed its name to "Geogenix".

A political debate between the government and the mayor of Zimbabwe's capital city. After 6 years of the concessionary contract, there is no incinerator. Although according to the initial procedures of the contract he should have already been prepared. There is no incinerator, but it is paid 29 euros/ton. This is the debate that takes place day after day. Strong accusations against the Prime Minister, for the mayor of Tirana. All these are related to waste processing.

A chain of individuals that we mentioned above, who go to Elbasan, Fier and the Tirana landfill, where the company "Geogenix" tries to avoid and deny them with Klodian Zoto, saying that there is no more cooperation or and Mirel Mertirin. But the media and politics have released frequent documents about how the landfill company of Tirana pays and buys media for propaganda, while it is a monopolistic company.

On the other hand, invoices have emerged on how other media are paid for campaigns, and others like these. In fact, Klodian Zoto is the co-founder of the company "Geogenix" and is an internationally wanted person.

The Albanian police are looking for him and cannot find him. Also Mirel Mërtiri, who is called the "brain" of the incinerators, who went all the way to Zimbabwe to negotiate.

Without talking about previous scandals and stories in Zimbabwe, where Mirel Mërtiri and his friends were talked about and accused by the media of this country. But then a minister there was arrested and the scandal was transferred to other names.

But at the incinerators, Mirel Mërtiri appears in every detail, appears as an employed director, appears as a director in Tirana, appears as their "brain" in Elbasan, as SPAK says, and so on.

It's the same company, it's the same people, but the shareholders who went from Tirana to Zimbabwe, who have companies in Bulgaria, who go to Malta or the Netherlands and move incinerators/burners worth hundreds of millions of euros, may have already changed.

Profits from declared taxes, at least in Albania in the last 5 years, have gone from 20 to 30 million dollars, amounts which have been declared by the subject to state institutions.

The scandal of the incinerators in Albania does not have its traces only there. It is also going to Zimbabwe, when although Albania is far away, the parent company in the Netherlands has Mirel from Albania to Zimbabwe, it has the co-founder Klodian Zoto, as well as Giuseppe Ciaffaglione.

All three people are wanted internationally. The three who avoid justice, but whose parent company continues to benefit from them, because in the services they did or are doing in the contracts they were able to secure, Albania and Zimbabwe pay hundreds of thousands of dollars a month to the incinerator company, where the shareholders founders and their owners have been announced as wanted internationally and cannot be found by the police as they are hiding to avoid justice./ CNA.al
