Zelensky kërkesë NATO-s për sisteme mbrojtëse ajrore

Presidenti i Ukrainës ka përdorur një fjalim në samitin e NATO-s në Turqi për t'u bërë thirrje aleatëve të dorëzojnë sistemet e mbrojtjes ajrore që i nevojiten urgjentisht Kievit për ta mbrojtur atë nga përshkallëzimi i sulmeve ruse.

"Ne jemi të aftë të bëjmë gjithçka tjetër vetë, por kur bëhet fjalë për mbrojtjen ajrore, na duhet vendosmëria e partnerëve tanë", tha Volodymyr Zelensky të martën në mëngjes.

Thirrja e Zelensky-t për ndihmë jehon me intensitet shtesë pasi raketat ruse goditën kryeqytetin ukrainas dy herë në më pak se një javë, duke u rrëzuar në blloqe apartamentesh dhe duke vrarë më shumë se 50 civilë.

Samiti në Ankara do të jetë gjithashtu një shans për Zelenskyn që të zhvillojë një takim vendimtar me Donald Trumpin dhe të theksojë argumentin e tij se sulmet “brutale” të Rusisë janë një shfaqje dobësie, jo force, dhe se Vladimir Putin duhet të detyrohet të fillojë bisedime drejt një paqeje “dinjitoze”.

Sulmet e fundit ndaj Ukrainës vijnë në një kohë kur ajo ka shtuar sulmet e saj me dronë me rreze të gjatë veprimi kundër Rusisë, duke goditur rafineritë e naftës dhe objektivat ushtarake atje dhe duke shkaktuar mungesa të konsiderueshme karburanti dhe ndërprerje të energjisë elektrike./CNA, përkthyer nga BBC
