Part of the public anger is not just related to the content of the decision, but to the way it is communicated. The government speaks in technical terminology, with selected figures, with curated statements.

The citizen speaks with the bill in hand, with the frozen salary, and with daily experience. These two languages ??do not meet often.

When a decision is presented as a success, while the citizen feels it as a burden, comment becomes the first means of opposition. There is no institutional editing there.

There is irony, revolt, fatigue, anger and sometimes pure cynicism. This is not simply an aggressive culture of public debate. It is also a consequence of the fact that many people feel excluded from the decision-making process.

This divide explains why triumphalist declarations often fall flat. The more a decision is sold as an absolute victory, the harsher the reaction becomes when reality does not support that narrative.

Are comments always indicative of the truth?

No. This requires caution. Public opinion polls are neither scientific nor a perfect reflection of public opinion. They can be distorted by militancy, algorithms, coordinated campaigns, and the tendency to comment more when you are angry than when you agree. A silent majority may not emerge at all.

But the next mistake is even bigger: declaring all comments as invalid. A government that refuses to listen to the spontaneous reaction of the public usually begins to believe only the version served to it by its own offices. And that is where complacency arises that then turns into political costs.

Therefore, comments should be read with a filter, but not with contempt. They are valuable not because they are always correct, but because they show how power is perceived. In politics, perception is not a detail. It is often half the battle. /CNA
