Two women in the defense of Berisha / Who are the state lawyers who will

GJKKO, at the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office, has chosen two lawyers for the defense of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha.

It is learned that for Berisha, lawyers have been appointed from the list of free state lawyers, Rabie Cenalia and Jalldiz Kastrati.

Cenalia and Kastrati were appointed as the lawyers of the former prime minister, after the departure of Artan Simoni, who was replaced due to unethical language on social networks towards Berisha.

We remind you that GJKKO appointed a state attorney for Berisha because the latter's lawyers abandoned the hearing.

They had filed a request to have the case reviewed by the Constitutional Court, but after it was rejected, the lawyers argued with the prosecutors and fled the hearing.

We remind you that Berisha has not agreed to go to court and has declared to the media that he will appear in SPAK, if the illegal measure against him "obligation to appear" is removed. 

He is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", committed in collaboration with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezin.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, has favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and the direct beneficiary has been Malltezi.

On the land of the former complex "Partizani", Malltezi, as an investor from the company "Homeplan" sh.pk, has carried out constructions and the benefits are calculated in the amount of 672 billion lek or 5 million euros./  CNA
