The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has made a denunciation regarding the case of Fredi Beleri, the elected mayor of Himara.

Berisha published a message Monday evening on Çim Peka's show, where it was claimed that the police and SPAK staged Beler's arrest.

According to him, the police paid 7 million old lek from the secret fund of the State Police to a person named Arsen Rama.

The chief democrat said that by making the stimulant, this person trapped Fredi Beleri.

Berisha's denunciation:

Rama is degrading the prosecution body, SKAP, to an extreme degree. I want to inform the Albanians tonight about some truths regarding the Beler problem.

Mr. Berisha, I want to inform you that the person who was used by the State Police to carry out the stimulating action against him (Beler), the corrupt act against Fredi Blair, was paid with 700 thousand lek (7-million old lek). The payment was made from the Special Secret Fund of the State Police. According to the announcement of SPAK, for sending for trial the criminal proceeding number 111 of 2023, in charge of Beler... and this person's name is Arsen Rama.

A scandal was committed by local and central police leaders. The Director of Vlora, Ermal Muçaj, and the Director of the Criminal Police Department, Neritan Nallbati, have acted contrary to the law on the State Police and the instructions of the Ministry of the Interior for the administration of the secret fund. The citizen Arsen Rama was treated as a confidential source and received this reward by being paid with a payment mandate from the police treasury according to a procedure, which is classified as a state secret.
