The Ethnographic Museum in Berat reopens after three years/ The facility displays around 1,300 objects of Berat's civic tradition

The Ethnographic Museum of Berat has opened its doors to visitors after a restoration process that lasted over three years. The building, which serves as a museum house for the civic tradition of Berat, has been redesigned to welcome the influx of the new tourist season.

Interventions in this museum have included the restoration and conservation of the building, as well as the updating of the lighting system and the way the collections are displayed.

The space now contains around 1,300 objects that testify to the lifestyle, crafts and culture of the city's residents over the centuries.

In addition to exhibiting historical objects, the museum will also be used for educational and promotional activities of handicrafts, becoming part of Berat's cultural offer for local and foreign visitors. /CNA
