Today GJKKO holds the session for Berisha/ Will the former prime minister go?

The Special Court of First Instance against Corruption and Organized Crime has scheduled a special session today at 14:00 for the privatization file of the former "Partizani" complex.

In this session, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha is expected to be questioned as a person under investigation.

But there is still no confirmation if Berisha will go to SPAK.

He described the accusations brought against him as political and claims that the Constitution was violated in his case.

Also, the leader of the Democratic Party has refused to meet the police officers who want to communicate the security measure to him and want to ask for his passport.

Berisha is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "Passive corruption of high state officials or local elected officials", committed in collaboration with his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezin.

SPAK claims that Berisha, in his capacity as Prime Minister, has favored the privatization procedures of the former "Partizani" complex and the direct beneficiary has been Malltezi.
