Flood situation in Shkodra/ Water continues to be present in homes

The situation regarding the rainfall in Shkodra appears to have improved. According to a report, the water level in the Oboti area has been found to be decreasing.

On the axis connecting the village of Obot with the main road, it is reported that the presence of water from 100 cm yesterday has decreased to 90 cm.

Regarding the situation in the apartments, the announcement states that in some of them water continues to be present in the yards, while there are no reports of the presence of water inside the apartments.

From continuous monitoring during the night and early morning hours, the hydrological situation in the territory of the Municipality of Shkodra appears to have improved compared to yesterday, with reduced water levels in the affected areas.

In the Obot area, a decrease in water level has been observed. The road axis connecting the village of Obot with the main road shows a water presence of about 90 cm, from 100 cm the day before, marking a decrease of about 10 cm. The axis continues to be monitored continuously.

The vehicles of the Municipality of Shkodra and supporting structures remain in Obot today, fully prepared for any need and to guarantee access and assistance to residents. Boats are also present on the ground today, to guarantee transport and intervention in case of need.

In Obot, there are apartments with water in their yards, while up to now there have been no reports of water inside the apartments.

In the Dajç Administrative Unit, in the Urrelat - Shirq area, a decrease of about 10 cm in the water level has been observed compared to yesterday. There is still water in the drainage canals of agricultural lands, but without penetration into homes.
