IGJEUM: Frost throughout the territory, difficulties in road transport

The Institute of Geosciences has shared a new forecast regarding the hydrometeorological situation in the country.

According to estimates, the risk of flooding in the Drin and Buna river basins is expected to decrease. Flows and levels are expected to decrease in the coming days.

This afternoon and tomorrow, as a result of low temperatures in the North, East and Southeast of the territory, frost may create various problems and difficulties in road transport.

Precipitation:

This afternoon and tomorrow, light rainfall is expected in the Dibër, Lezhë and Durrës districts, while locally light rainfall is expected in the Shkodër, Kukës, Tirana, Elbasan and Korçë districts.

Temperature:

Tomorrow, minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach:

on the coast: 5 / 13 °C

in lowlands: 0 / 13 °C

in mountainous areas: -1 / 8 °C

Wind:

Light to moderate winds are expected this afternoon and tomorrow. /CNA
