The case published this Thursday, June 4, on the show "Stop" is related to an administrative error at the Civil Status Office of the village of Ruzhdie, which has caused numerous problems for the Kamberaj family.

Saimir Kamberaj, who lives and works in Greece, denounces a serious inaccuracy in the documentation of his wife, Dorina Kamberaj.

According to the complaint, in 2017 and 2019, during data processing in the civil registry system, Dorina Kamberaj's citizenship was incorrectly recorded as Afghan, instead of appearing as Albanian.

This error has caused difficulties in the family's administrative procedures, especially for their son's documentation.

The journalist contacted the Civil Registry Office, which is now operating in Patos after being transferred from the village of Ruzhdie. The head of the office, Afërdita Beqiraj, admitted that it was a human error that occurred while entering the data into the system.

According to her, instead of the citizenship "Albania", "Afghanistan" was mistakenly registered, creating inaccuracies in the civil status certificates.

"We will verify the fundamental registry, to verify real citizenship once again," said Beqiraj.

After the necessary verifications and procedures, Afërdita Beqiraj applied for data correction to the competent institutions in Fier.

With the intervention of the "Stop" show and the cooperation between the Civil Status Office in Patos, the problem was resolved within a short time.

In the end, the Kamberaj family was provided with a corrected certificate, where Dorina Kamberaj's citizenship appears as Albanian.
