The Secretary General of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, said today that the opposition's weekly protests have achieved their goal, as they have scared the majority and the head of government.

In his speech at the next meeting of the 'Poltores' in front of the Prime Minister, Noka stated that the opposition has been attacked endlessly during the effort to eradicate Edi Rama's regime, which according to him represents the interests of drug cartels and not of citizens.

"When we decided to install this platform, many others in the Rilindja camp ridiculed us. Later, when we decided to be weekly, they started insulting us, I believe you all remember. When we decided to all go down to the square, to the boulevard and organize the most magnificent protests to eradicate the drug regime, they started attacking us endlessly. These are savages, they commit violence, they left nothing unsaid. That none of them cares about democracy, the progress or the development of the country. No! They only had one issue, to protect the drug. This is a clear message and we continued that in our core has been and is resistance. This does not represent Albanians, but the darkest interests of drug cartels and in no way the citizens of this country. They feel shocked and the most shocked is Edi Rama", - said Noka. /CNA
