Rama: Resolution to declare Iran a terrorist organization

Prime Minister Edi Rama announced today the declaration of Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism.

In a press conference, Rama said that next week, the majority will present to the Assembly a resolution to declare Iran's Revolutionary Guard, but also neighboring Hezbollah in Lebanon, which is supported by Tehran, as terrorist organizations, as have international partners.

"All those who thought they would subjugate the Republic of Albania, whether internal or external forces, will be left with their finger in their mouths, choosing for themselves. Next week, the parliament will be invited to vote on a resolution to declare the Khomeiniist republic of Iran, I cannot call it Islamic because that republic has nothing to do with Islam according to what I know and according to what I appreciate about Islam, a state sponsor of terrorism and along with this as a terrorist organization the Republican Guard and Hezbollah. Because this is the truth. Of course, we are not the pioneers in this step, because there have been partners, friends who have taken it before, but it is time for us to do this too.

It eased the burden on citizens, just as the competition that we encouraged eased it by completely changing the approach to air flights. Albania had the most expensive airport in Europe, today it has the most successful airport in the Balkans. The more dead people love us, the more we revive. We will create the public factor, we will introduce the power of the state into the oil market. Very soon we will set an example of how things will change in the oil market as well.

By making the state guarantee available, it will become much easier than it is today for market players to have long-term sustainability. We have the law on reserves in the process. Today this is imperative. In the law on public consultation, we have determined that the reserve should last for 3 months. This is no longer enough as a security measure.
