Elections in the DP of Vlora/ Membership votes for the new branch leader

Members of the Democratic Party in Vlora are voting today to elect the new leader of their branch.

The election process is taking place at the DP headquarters in the Skela area and started at 08:00, while the closing of voting is scheduled for 18:00.

Two candidates are facing each other in this race: Nada Meçorapaj, former MP and currently secretary of the DP branch in the city, and Daling Banushi, member of the leadership of this branch.

Sources from the polling station report that the process has started smoothly and with good turnout. Interest in participating in the elections seems high since the early hours of the morning.

Around 1,500 members of the Democratic Party in Vlora have the right to vote in this process, which will also result in the new leader of the local branch of this political force./ CNA
