Presidency Meeting/ Boçi: DP strengthens opposition action

The Vice President of the Democratic Party, Luciano Boçi, focusing on the decisions taken at the meeting of the DP Presidency, emphasized that the party will begin a process of reorganization of structures and preparation for future political developments.

According to Boçi, these decisions are related to strengthening opposition action and preparing for a possible electoral situation, either through a request for a caretaker government or for the local elections expected to take place next year.

He emphasized that the DP will increase communication with structures and citizens to strengthen trust and support for the opposition.

" Today's decisions commit the structure of the Democratic Party towards its reorganization and towards a preparation for an optional electoral situation, whether this is what we have requested through a technical government, or that of the local elections that are a little more than a year away and that definitely requires the party to have its own image, to increase political communication within the structure of the Democratic Party, but also to increase political communication with citizens to arouse that trust, hope that is growing, which has come as a result of the political action of the Democratic Party, its causes that are civic causes, translated into political causes and which has proven that the Democratic Party is a party that has at its base the civic interest, has at its base not the personal interest simply of taking power, but of taking a reasonable, logical, responsible direction of the country, because the country really needs this.

The political situation requires this kind of commitment, it requires the Democratic Party to be very active until the objective is achieved, as we all know, proven not simply by the denunciations and facts of the Democratic Party, but proven by the investigations of SPAK, proven by the positions of internationals and the information that comes from them, proven and in the way Edi Rama seeks to protect himself and this whole situation shows that corruption has reached those unacceptable levels, previously unimaginable , "said Boçi./CNA
