The head of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has reacted after the DP Group declared that it would not participate in Tuesday's plenary session in the Assembly.

Through a post, Balla stated that this boycott of the session by the DP Parliamentary Group comes at a time when the SP has proposed a draft resolution for "On the declaration of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a State Sponsor of Terrorism and a State that uses terrorist means."

Balla said that the session has no personal agenda, but was proposed on February 18 and approved by decision of the plenary session a month ago.

" Regret for the announcement that the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic Party will boycott tomorrow's session of the Albanian Parliament, under the pretext that in this session a draft resolution has been proposed by us for "On the declaration of the Islamic Republic of Iran as a State Sponsor of Terrorism and a State that uses terrorist means". Whoever ordered you to boycott the session tomorrow did not wish you and Albania well," Balla writes.
