The member of the Municipal Council of the Democratic Party, Dorian Teliti, has denounced the absurd situation created this Saturday morning at the pensioners' subscription point, where dozens of them wait in line for hours in conditions that are not at all normal.

After copying the program of the DP and candidate Belind Këlliçi for free transportation, although he had previously opposed and ridiculed this proposal, Veliaj again failed to implement it!

Pensioners are forced to wait in long lines, in difficult conditions, without any organization and without the necessary infrastructure for the distribution of passes.

Many of them are complaining, tired, worried, and quite a few of them are in poor health. This is the face of a local administration that only talks, but does not act for the citizens!

While the number of employees in the Municipality of Tirana has tripled in the last 10 years, not even a few more employees were found to distribute subscriptions with dignity without tiring pensioners in endless lines.

"This treatment is not only far from European norms and standards, but it is scandalous! That is why change is needed! That is why we must all react, both with a protest on February 8 and with a vote on May 11," Teliti writes.
