Prime Minister Edi Rama indirectly responded to the accusations of former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, currently wanted by SPAK.

During his speech at the Socialist Youth Assembly, Rama said that today those who until yesterday were in the ranks of the Socialist Party and the government, even those one seat away from him, are in the hands of justice or are being sought by it.

"Our problem this time will not be the opponents, but the sludge of their swamp that this time will flood even more fury to darken as many eyes as possible, to upset as many hearts as possible and to turn as many people cold towards us as possible. They will not succeed, on the contrary, they will get it back in their eyes as they deserve, but we need a lot of patience and determination and perseverance until the end of these 100 days.

By cursing, slandering, abusing, fabricating, spitting, shouting, and screaming, they will tell you that I and we are everything, which in fact is themselves. But you will tell yourself and others that whoever did it best can do it even better, while whoever left it bad can do it even worse.

They may tell you that we are a gang of thieves, because this one and that one who were with us until yesterday, even one chair away from me, are today in the hands of justice or are being sought by justice, but you will tell yourself and others that if it were not for us socialists who used our power to give independence to justice, today there would not be a single person of today's and yesterday's power before justice, as there has not been since 1912, when we carried out the Justice Reform.
