Prime Minister Edi Rama and the Minister of Interior, Ervin Hoxha, have presented the survey to measure citizen perception on the level of security in the country and trust in the State Police.

According to Rama, the data shows that citizens are clear in their reading of the security situation, in their reading of the problems, and in their evaluation of the work of the Police, more than all those who bang their heads in the television debate halls every night.

Rama added that 82% of citizens surveyed feel safe in Albania.

"Today we are very close to the EU average for the number of murders. The good news is that this truth that we see in the figures can also be read on the pages of this survey. The public, the Albanians, those who live daily life in the cities and villages of Albania, in all the survey periods since this survey was conducted, are very close to the logic of the facts of the figures of the measurable progress of the State Police, the facts that we get from the work of the State Police such as the number of murders, accidents, robberies... it is a fact that shows that the people are very clear in reading the security situation and in reading the problems as well as in evaluating the work of the Police, that all those who bang their heads in the television debate halls every night and the daily mud that is thrown in the parliament by those who for 10 years have not left anything unsaid about the Police, its leaders and employees", said Rama./ CNA
