The political leader of the Democratic Party for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, warned publisher Carlo Bollino during the protest, following the court hearing.
Këlliçi conveyed the message to Bollino from the protest that he will be held personally responsible for every theft.
"This week started with a court hearing. Carlo Bollino sued me for defamation because we said he had stolen 4,020 m2 of land to build a building.
He attacks the opposition through his edifice he calls television.
We asked that Malltez be given the opportunity to confront him. What did Carlo do? He came to this building, the Tirana Municipality. He stayed with Veliaj for 1 and a half hours and ran away so that no one would catch or film him.
Carlo, stay calm because we never intend to play the dirty game you are playing. For every theft, you will be held accountable, just like your thieves and your payers. You don't need that Italian passport that you held in your hands to make them tremble, there is no passport that can save you", said Këlliçi./ CNA
