Yesterday, the Parliament held a marathon session where legal changes were approved, but the DP and the SP did not reach agreement on two issues on the agenda.

It concerns the sending of the mandate of MP Vullnet Sinaj to the Constitutional Court, as well as the consensus on the establishment of an investigative commission for the Port of Durres project.

The draft decision “On the establishment of the Parliamentary investigative committee to control the legality of the procedures for (i) approving the “Durres Marina & Yachts” project; (ii) selling the port management concession to Schapha doo; and (iii) building the new port in Porto Romano”, received one vote in favor, 1 abstention and 73 votes against, while the draft decision “On sending the motion to the Constitutional Court”, for the mandate of Socialist Party MP Vullnet Sinaj, was not approved. 61 MPs voted against, 12 others abstained and received no votes in favor./ CNA
