Following the funeral ceremony of Archbishop Anastasios, Kyriakos Mitsotakis had a one-on-one meeting with Edi Rama. This was reported in the Greek media as the pair were together at the lunch organized after the Archbishop's funeral ceremony.
Greek media outlet "ERT News" reported that there was a face-to-face meeting between Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Edi Rama, while the idea of ??unity that Anastasios represented was reflected, with the two prime ministers talking in a very warm atmosphere with Patriarch Bartholomew, the Archbishops of Cyprus and Jerusalem.
"Of course we have good relations and we should have good relations. We are neighboring countries and we should solve every problem through dialogue," emphasized Mr. Mitsotakis.
Meanwhile, on the other hand, Rama emphasized that they are good friends.
"We are friends. He came here and I have the honor of being a good host. So we had a coffee, talked about different things and I have nothing to share with you. There is no problem. Everything is fine," said Edi Rama. /CNA
