A file with a conflict of interest violation by the Chairman of the RTSH Steering Council submitted to the Albanian Parliament has set the Media Commission in motion.

His dismissal is being demanded after the publication in the media of official documents showing how, in violation of the law, he receives money from projects that he himself signs. ( READ HERE )

According to this document, the Chairman of the Steering Council benefited from more than 4 million lek for just two hours of broadcasting.

This completely violated document, signed between him and the director dismissed for sexual abuse at RTSH, Alfred Peza, is becoming the cause of this dismissal decision by the Assembly.

The violation of conflict of interest is so flagrant that the Chairman of the Steering Council, Leka Bungo, lied in Parliament.

He said that he has not produced any work for 2 and a half years and has not received any money from RTSH. He made the statement in November 2024. ( READ HERE )

Meanwhile, the signed and stamped document proved that he received money in clear violation of the law, in December 2023, just 11 months before the false statement before the Media Commission.

The Media Commission also has in its "Bungo" file the falsification of the minutes of the Steering Council meetings.

On January 6, the minutes were published on the RTSH website without Leka Bungo's vote and signature due to his absence from the Council meeting.
