"Neither Rama nor Dumani can expel me from politics"/ Meta delivers a

The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, spoke via an audio message from prison cell "313". Meta expressed his positions and shared his opinions on some of the most important current political issues.

In this message, Meta accused Edi Rama, demanding that this regime be eradicated, calling on all Albanians in the diaspora to vote.

Further, Meta stated:

"Neither Rama nor Dumani can exclude Ilir Meta from politics. They want a lifetime mandate. Their inactions are intentional. There is no decision or violation against me. They have not confiscated a single penny or real estate from me."

Meta took the opportunity to unveil a little of the PL's political program for the May 11 elections, mainly focusing on the economic program. Regarding this part of the program, Meta said:

"There will be investments that will focus on domestic production. We need to guarantee branded products. These are products that our economy can produce. 3.2 billion euros is the figure we have lost this year, in addition to the billions of euros that are stolen every year."

He also presented several other important points of the political program, highlighting:

"There will be a program that tracks every public transaction. Money is being squandered like a sheikh by Edi Rama. Our economic program is easily financed. The economic results will be very successful."

Regarding the party, Meta said:

 "I am convinced of the human capacities of the PL, society, but also Albanians abroad." / CNA
