"He has filed complaints with online platforms"/ Vangjeli: The state

The Anti-Corruption Spokesperson for the Democratic Party, Genta Vangjeli, in a statement from the blue headquarters raised the case of a citizen diagnosed with Lateral Stemi and other associated diseases to whom the institutions do not connect the camp.

Vangjeli states that citizen Arben Kalemaj meets the conditions to benefit from the camp, but despite requests to institutions, he has not received a solution.

The Democratic Party demands the immediate execution of the law by the state administration.

 

" The Democratic Party today conveys the concern of citizen Arben Kalemaj, who denounces that for years he has been facing flagrant injustice from state institutions.

Kalemaj is diagnosed with Lateral Stem Cells and other associated diseases.

Based on the diagnosis, medical treatment and functional consequences identified even after multidisciplinary rehabilitation, the cardiology service at QSUNT, on May 9, 2022, referred his case to the Medical Commission for Determining Ability to Work for the assessment of the right to benefit from economic assistance for disability.

On October 5, 2022, this commission, with certificate no. 2753, confirmed that Arben Kalemaj meets the legal requirements to receive disability income.

However, despite submitting all the required documentation, Mr. Kalemaj denounces that to date he has not received any payment, having been wandering for years at the doors of state institutions, without any concrete result. According to him, no official denies him this right, but neither does he execute it.

Mr. Kalemaj has also filed a complaint with the electronic platforms set up by the Prime Minister, but again has not received any solution.
