Former MP Myslim Murrizi reacted today to Democrat Flamur Noka, reminding the DP that the party has been in opposition for 12 years.

Through a post on social media, Murrizi states that the Democratic Party is in the most difficult days of its 35 years of existence, and according to him, not from debate or dissent, but from silence and servility within the party.

 "A little slower, Flamur.
Slow down a little, if you haven't burned all the shit, because it's not the DEMOCRATS' fault that since 2013 you became an MP without being voted for by the citizens, but by being included in closed lists according to that bastardized and "bylykbashized" electoral code."

The members of the DP are neither your subordinates nor paid by you; they are idealists, courageous and people who have sacrificed time and effort for every battle the DP has fought these 35 years.
You have been paid, Flamur, since 2005 by their contribution and sacrifice.

Let them speak, Flamur. Don't be like Muho Asllani or Hekuran Isai, because the DP was created by free people, with dignity and courage, in December 1990, and it will exist thanks to them.

We have been in opposition for 12 years due to silence and servility, and today we are in the most difficult days of the 35 years of the DP's existence—not due to debate or dissent.

Calm down, Flamur. Everyone in the DP has come for their beliefs, their program, their idealism, and their hope for a better government than the one we have today, not for you as secretary, nor for Berisha as president, nor for Gaz, Gjekmarkaj, and Bylykbashi as vice presidents.

This honorable lady does no harm to the DP, no such voice that comes from the rebellious spirit of every democrat in every corner of Albania.

"The DP is extremely damaged by your behavior, Flamur, and that of that narrow circle of scoundrels around you and Berisha, who have not voted for you in four elections, but you behave as if you have in your hands the life of anyone you think is your subordinate because they are a member of the DP or in opposition to Rama," writes Murrizi./CNA
