The head of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, Dashamir Shehi, has commented on the Democratic Party's reactions to the statements of the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos.

Shehi said in an interview that the opposition must understand that internationals cannot solve the DP's internal problems. He further added that Marta Kos has a duty to comment on the integration chapters and not the OSCE/ODIHR reports.

"The opposition group's constant confrontation with international institutions, often even with the foreign world, the opposition itself must understand that the internationals do not owe us anything. Secondly, that the internationals cannot solve the internal problems of the DP."

The third is that the internationals will always turn a blind eye to the government in the relationship between the government and the opposition. That's how it's always been. And this is the history of the negotiations. It's not that the internationals don't have any grudge against the opposition. If you look at their reports, what the OSCE did, there's all the criticism there. But it's not the job of that Kos, it has a different line, it's about the integration chapters.
