"It contradicts what is written in the EC report"/ Vokshi:

Democratic Party MP Albana Vokshi, invited to Syri TV, spoke about Commissioner Marta Kos's statements regarding the elections in the country.

Vokshi said that Kos' statements are not the position of the EC, but her personal position.

The Democrat said that the Commissioner's statements contradict the European Commission's own report.

Vokshi stated that the EC has reflected the OSCE findings on the elections in Albania.

Findings, which according to Vokshi are completely opposite to what Kos declared.

The MP called for the commissioner to apologize and distance herself from the statements made.

 

" The Kos statement is not the position of the EC, but her personal one. When we heard the statement we were in Brazil, at the CDI assembly. We had meetings, discussions with MEPs and MPs from various countries and the EU.

It contradicts what is written in the EC report itself, not to mention the OSCE report.

The OSCE/ODIHR report is taken as a basis by all international organizations. The EC never takes a position, let's say it has reflected the findings of the OSCE report. Findings that are completely opposite to what Commissioner Kos said. And she herself should distance herself from what she said, apologize. What Marta Kos said contradicts the EC position and the OSCE/ODIHR report, which they themselves refer to.

I don't know how a commissioner can go that far. The personal income from lobbying cannot be confused with the function of a commissioner.
