"Brazen thieves"/ Berisha: In 7 years, 400 million euros for the incinerators of Tirana, Fier, Elbasan, which do not exist

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, accused the government today of spending 400 million euros in seven years on incinerators in Tirana, Fier and Elbasan, which do not even exist.

In his speech during the opposition protest, Berisha said that through these unjustified expenditures, the government is continuing to steal Albanians' money.

"These shameless thieves have stolen. Friends, we are the only country in the world that, in a 7-year period, 400 million euros have been spent on the incinerators of Tirana, Fier and Elbasan. None of them exist. The Tirana incinerator does not have a single brick because they have stolen the money. We have denounced it dozens of times and nothing. It continues to steal your money", said Berisha. /CNA
