Prime Minister Edi Rama has shared on social media footage of the teams' work to repair embankments and infrastructure damaged by the floods.

Rama writes that the teams of the Irrigation-Drainage Directorate are in full coordination with Civil Emergencies, the Armed Forces and local institutions, to guarantee the safety of affected communities and areas.

" Repair of embankments and important irrigation and protective infrastructure continues in areas at risk of flooding as a result of the intense rainfall of recent days."
