"A referendum was needed on this issue"/ Baçi: A brochure about

Democratic Party MP Luan Baçi spoke about the gender equality law in a television appearance.

Baçi said that a brochure talking about gender was distributed in a school in Tirana.

The Democrat stated that a referendum is needed on this issue.

Regarding this case, the deputy stated that the majority itself acknowledged that this case is concerning.

Focusing on the opposition's "Speaker", Baçi said that nothing has changed.

 

" Nothing has changed with the protest. Someone calls it a "platform" or a protest, or a meeting with citizens. In fact, it is a "platform", a meeting with citizens, and it was born after the opposition's speech was blocked in the Assembly. We thought about how we could communicate with citizens to say our words. We tried not to give any reason for the majority not to close the discussions. A referendum was needed on this issue. I know what happened to us today in the Commission, Chairman Boçi requested the call of the Minister of Education, the majority voted against it.
