"I worked as a lawyer, I have declared my income"/ Zegjine

Socialist Party MP Zegjine Çaushi has reacted after news was published that she worked as a security guard for a private company.

Çaushi has published documents from her income declaration over the years and states that she worked as a lawyer at the company in question.

The MP has accused the media of misinforming her with news about her.

" Dear citizens of Fier County,

I feel obliged to react to you.

With all the great respect I have for the media and journalists, please exercise your profession within the limits of accurate information and prior verification. Our citizens deserve to be informed correctly, not misinformed.

Public clarification:

First, anyone is free to make news, but not by distorting the facts.

My job positions, over the years, have been:
1. Civil Emergencies Specialist
2. Chief Inspector of IVMT
3. Lawyer at the company "BA2" shpk (different from what is presented in the media)
4. Lawyer at the company "Illyrian Guard" (From May 16, 2024 to March 25, 2025, different from what is presented in the media)

As for my income, it is all officially declared (with bank transactions), accompanied by the relevant documentation at the relevant institutions", writes Çaushi./ CNA
