Yesterday the journalist Çim Peka announced that on Monday there will be an interview on Skype with Mirel Mërtir, the mastermind of the incinerator gang, who built a scheme with his associate Klodian Zoto, with his roommate Stela Gungallja and the Albanian government and the municipalities of Elbasan, Fier and Tirana.

A corrupt scheme of 178 million euros so far, money which does not stop for the incinerator of Mirel Mërtir, the incinerator that does not actually exist in Tirana. Only there, Mirel Mërtiri was able to secure 110 million euros in income. It is understood that the business is in two lines, that of land and the other amount of money with tens of millions of euros that were paid from the state budget. 

Mirel Mërtiri is appearing in the media, since for the second time he could not stop the public denunciation of the facts and evidence that have forced SPAK and every other institution to go to the end of the truth about the incinerators.

There are not two truths about incinerators, there is one and only one. Mirel Mërtiri is in every scene and scenario, every other person involved in this story was simply and only his servant. Of course, there are 3 questions that have always been asked: Mirel Mërtiri was so wise as to deceive an entire state? Did he cooperate by handing out money to state officials or is the owner a third party, or several third parties?

Mirel Mërtiri is appearing in the media as a repentant, making it clear that he has already decided to speak to tell his truth about where the incinerators' money went.

What it means now is of little importance, after the facts and evidence brought out by SPAK and the truths that will come out even further in the future, without stopping until the last day, with the hope and belief that SPAK will go to the end, not only to find out where the Albanians' money went, but to seize every money of every thief involved in the incinerator scheme, in the media, in politics and everywhere and return it to the state budget, to return to the Albanians.

And the sooner this happens, the easier it will be to find the money. 

In fact, Mirel Mërtiri is coming out as regretful, when there is not much curiosity about what it means for those who have followed the affair step by step, since the first days when it was attempted to buy every media outlet, or later when all the power and pandalim charters brought him media love with Top Channel, partnerships, endless millions for the media, when there was a monopoly contract. 

The services rendered to the majority, the friendships from Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj, to Mayor Erion Veliaj, to the ministries or officials of the municipality of Tirana, who behaved as employees of Mirel Mërtir, and so on. 

With his first appearance, Mirel Mërtiri has a message for those who are curious. It will be for the real owners of the incinerator, because it itself has condensed to 20%. It will be a love message for Erion Veliaj and a threat for Edi Rama. It will be a strong message to the real owners, for whom he has served, for the scheme.

Maybe even a move by him to save the trial in Austria, which he lost in the first instance. For those who don't know, Mirel Mëritiri is trying to politically address the issue of his extradition, when in fact the "Mëritiri" it is a matter of thieves and fraud of the Albanian state and on Monday Mireli must tell us how he did the corruption and with whom, with Arbe Ahmetaj, with Edi Rama, with Erion Veliaj, with the mayors.

Who were the thieves who cooperated with Mirel Mërtiri, this is what Albanians are curious about and where did the money go. This is not to be done on Monday and never. He is simply trying to send a menacing message, as he has done in recent months and years with his criminal media connections, and is raising alarm bells that he may become remorseful. 

In fact, the latter would be the best action that Mirel Mërtiri would doand the request to him is to truly become a penitent of justice, to go run to Altin Dumani and explain to him how he deceived the Albanian state, who he had as an accomplice, how he stole the money, why he built an incinerator in Elbasan that takes 2 million euros of oil per year , how he built an incinerator in Fier that doesn't work and why he couldn't build the Tirana incinerator in 6 years, and we're talking about the last 3 years, when at least one of the lines should have been in operation. 

Mirel Mërtiri should go to Altin Dumani and confess as a citizen to the priest to tell him the truth what he thinks, then justice should find the facts and evidence to bring behind the handcuffs anyone who cooperated with Mirel and stole Albanian lek.

Here, let's not forget Klodian Zoto, his close associate whom Mireli tries hard to make the owner of the incinerators in order to save his skin and the filth, the intrigues, the scenarios he builds from Vienna to hide the truth about the incinerators, which Mirel Mërtirit may be when he becomes pendito.

The moment he will go and repent before SPAK and cooperate only with them, then Mirel Mërtiri can be trusted. Everything else has no curiosity./CNA
