This was one of the facts presented the other day in an investigative show on the subject of the Health Oligarch dedicated to businessman Klodian Allajbeu. The context of this fact is the attachment to fiscal evasion. But how does the truth stand?

The company that owns the agri-food market on the highway is called Ekma Albania. In 2021, Ekma Albania or the agri-food market recorded a net profit after taxes of 309 million ALL or 3 million euros. In 2022, the net profit after taxes was ALL 305 million or EUR 2.96 million. In each of these years, the company has paid about 525 thousand euros in profit tax. In just 2 years, the agro-food market has earned 6 million euros, while in the 8 years for which the investigation claims that the market has been at a loss, it has earned at least over 20 million euros. If there is a problem here, it is that the market probably makes a lot of money and this increases the prices of fruits and vegetables that the citizens of Tirana buy.

At best, the investigation has inadvertently confused Ekma with Anamark. The market is Ekma. Anamark is the holding company that holds the shares of EKMA. However, this market was not the only inaccuracy of the investigation. The next biggest untruth was related to the dialysis concession.

M42 kompania që bleu suedezen Diaverum duke u bërë rrjedhimisht edhe pronari i ri i koncesionit të dializës në Shqipëri, është një kompani që zotërohet nga Mubadala. Ky është fondi i dytë më i madh shtetëror i Abu Dhabit, që zotërohet në masën 100 për qind nga qeveria e Abu Dhabit. Nëse kriminelët shqiptarë do të arrijnë të hyjnë në këtë kompani, Abu Dhabin e mori lumi.

Ky është një fond privat kapitali prej 230 milionë dollarësh i krijuar në vitin 2006 me investitorë mes të tjerësh BERZH, qeverinë amerikane përmes Korporatës Private të Investimeve Jashtë (OPIC) dhe Bankën e Austrisë.

Gjatë viteve disa nga investitorët dhe partnerët e fondit janë ndryshuar. Për shembull, në vitin 2019 OPIC u shkri. Por aktualisht vazhdojnë të jenë investitorë në fond BERZH me 50 milionë dollarë, fondi më i madh i pensioneve të Danimarkës Industrie Pensions dhe madje edhe një kompani e lidhur me Geroge Soros.
