Such news was also told by deputy Ina Zhupa, CNA reported, but in fact there is still no official confirmation that Alfred Peza has resigned.

The fact is that Alfred Peza has removed some personal items and some paintings from his office. This has made the big news of the resignation.

An anonymous media reported a few days ago that Alfred Peza had resigned, while today the news came out. CNA reported the information correctly.

In fact, it is not that we want to protect Alfred Peza, since for us he should not resign, but go to justice for a spectacular destruction that even the biggest enemy would not have done to RTSH, removing people with great experience from work, increasing the costs of festivals by hundreds of millions of Lek and so on.

This is the reason why it should go to be investigated, while the SSC is controlling this institution. But it cannot be confirmed and cannot be abused that Peza has resigned, stressing that he resigned and his resignation was approved by the board of directors.

In fact, there is no board of directors in RTSH. In RTSH, there is a Board of Directors of Albanian Radio and Television, which is issued by the Parliament, and it is this structure that opens the race for the new director.

So, the director is appointed or dismissed by the Governing Council and can leave with irrevocable resignation.

At the moment Peza resigns, the Governing Council meets and then, in case the resignation is irrevocable, announces the competition for the new director of RTSH. These are the legal steps.
