"Mirel Mëriti, Zoto&kompani" have swallowed hundreds of millions of euros from the affair of the century, that of the incinerators, which in fact do not exist, have not been completed and will not work. 

Large sums of money have been extorted from poor Albanians.

The incinerator of Elbasan, a barracks of iron

First, Mirel Mërtiri, who receives the concession of the Elbasan incinerator , which was actually more than one, an investment spread over years for 24 million euros. Fier's incinerator, an affair that never ends

In Fier, someone claims that we have a good incinerator, of the standards of the time, but from 2017 to today, 7 years have passed and apparently it will never be finished, a large part of the equipment is blocked in customs, the payments of unfinished, while there are still documents that Klodian Zoto brought to the state institutions that the incinerator had been completed. But the clan of Mirel Mërtiri, who managed Zoto and Gugalle, so he used them and himself erased his name, then he would fight for another concession, after grabbing another 35 million euros for Fier, a total of 58 million euros for two incinerators.

In Elbasan, it doesn't work, it doesn't work, it's a pile of iron, a mountain that will apparently be thrown away for scrap, or it will require an investment of another million euros to put it to work. Just to keep the incinerator running, it requires about 2 million euros per year from the poor municipalities of Elbasan district. (read here)

The corrupt scheme with the Tirana incinerator

We go from Elbasan and Fieri, both together devoured 58 million euros, i.e. two incinerators, a building that does not work and an unfinished building in Tirana. 300 million euro concession contract. The company had to invest 128 million euros. They said they were the Dutch, the French, foreigners, partners and so on. In fact, Mirel Mërtiri and Klodian Zoto were hiding behind it all.  To this day, Mertiri runs the company "Geogenix BV" from the escape in Vienna. He resides in Austria as Albanian justice is sought.

The head of this structured criminal group so far is Mirel Mëritiri, his media appearance, last time in December last year, did not say anything, simply and only the director pointed the finger of accusation at a SPAK prosecutor, at Klodian Brahos. who at that moment was signing the "5D" folder of the thief directors of the mayor Erion Veliaj. A fact that inadvertently showed us that the Municipality of Tirana in cooperation with the incinerators and the "5D" file could use Mirel Mërtiri for such exits, who spared his former friend Arben Ahemtaj. At the Tirana incinerator, the affair is even deeper. The company should have invested, as mentioned above, 128 million euros, but based on documents and public statements, it was unable to invest about 30 million euros in more than 6 years. About 20 million more euros have been found in charges filed by SPAK, as money laundering. Another million euros have been found for properties given to ministers, former ministers and high officials. (read here)

Meanwhile, there is a signed contract between the concessionaire company run by the names established by Mirel Mërtiri, who remains in the shadows, and the Municipality of Tirana, where the company increases its income by about 60 million euros . These are called income from private business imposed as a tax on some firms of the Municipality of Tirana for which Erion Veliaj does not take responsibility , although he is the latter the conductor of everything that has happened with the criminal cooperation with the media.

A journalist who is a close associate of Vjollca Hoxha, the director of Top News, has been declared wanted by SPAK and accused of being a structured criminal group. Other journalists who were paid for false reports and used to attack the media, journalists who denounced the incinerator affair are under investigation and the disclosure of documents, facts and evidence will show that the criminal group of incinerators could not go and ended simply and only with E ndrit Habilaj, but there was someone above who ordered the distribution of money in the media, criminal attacks and the cooperation of this group with a single goal, to create ease for Mirel Mërtir so that he would benefit as much as possible money with his criminal group and share it with his associates in the media.

We are faced with the fact that the Albanian state, the Albanian government, has paid about 70 million euros for the Tirana incinerator, an incinerator that does not exist. Everyone already knows this. He paid 58 million euros for Fier and Elbasan. In Fier two years ago we saw how garbage was burned, in Elbasan we saw how garbage was burned twice in a row and if we add to the total amount of 128 million euros and 7 or 8 million euros data for the Vlora landfill, which did not has ended, after having benefited from Klodian Zoto's "ITS" company, it is about 135 million euros and again and this time in Vlora, this year for the second time the cancerous smoke invaded the city after the remains were burned. We are faced with the fact that 135 million euros have been invested in 4 cities and there is no incinerator, incinerators do not exist, incinerators do not work, incinerators that did not work and landfills out of order. 135 million euros paid where the largest amount is the Municipality of Tirana with its actual owner Erion Veliaj. 


These are the stubborn and indisputable facts that SPAK is investigating, the whole Achilles' heel of this corruption affair and that the matter has so far been left up to the level of Erion Veliaj's subordinates or Vjollca Hoxha's subordinates, and this is the essence of everything : will it go all the way to the actual owner of Tirana and the official media ally of the incinerators?/CNA
