1. Get a good night's sleep.
Don't settle for just a few hours of sleep, like a phone with a low battery, as the body needs 7-8 hours of sleep to function properly, learn, and retain memory. Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day.
2. Walking is the foundation of well-being
A simple walk every day boosts physical and mental health: it helps the immune system, reduces joint pain, aids in weight control, and helps reduce stress.
3. Read 30 minutes a day
Reading a book for 30 minutes a day can reduce stress, almost as much as yoga, and helps strengthen and improve brain well-being.

Meditation helps reduce stress and improves mental health. Even 5 minutes a day can help, and there are apps to guide you through the process.

6. Eat more plant-based foods
Including fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, and legumes in the diet helps regulate cholesterol and blood pressure and reduces the risk of chronic diseases.
7. Drink more water
The body is made up mostly of water: it helps eliminate toxins, lubricates joints, and aids digestion. Keep a bottle with you and drink regularly.
8. Stop harmful habits
Alcohol increases the risk of hypertension, depression, and worsens sleep. Smoking damages the heart, lungs, and long-term health. Giving up these behaviors greatly helps in longevity and health.
9. Spend time with the people you love.
Social connections improve mood. Phone calls, meetings, or activities with friends and family bring happiness and well-being.
10. Take a break from screens
Excessive screen time is linked to greater stress and sleep disturbances, while a digital break can improve focus, mood and real-life social connections.
11. Start a new hobby
