For a lifetime, Istref Haxhillari has practiced the profession of teacher in the branches of exact sciences. A profession that he does with such passion, but apparently, this teaching profile has not stopped him from getting into linguistics.

Although a physical education teacher, Haxhillari has published several novels that are not related to his profile. These novels generally have various themes pertaining to life, love and human feelings, which he presents in the books in a way quite different from reality.

"The Song of the Bird of Paradise" is a poem written in prose, a poem about love, about life, about courage, maybe even about morality. This is the strength of love that has always motivated me to go back to that event which has been an indication for every work I have written, an inspiration that has motivated me to write about love"
