"Scandalous decision in defense of builders"/ Rama: Heroic patience

Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted again this Monday regarding the case of judge Habzi Balliu, who, according to Rama, ruled in favor of illegal builders, considering an unauthorized building confiscated in the middle of Tirana as legitimate property.

Through a post on social media, Rama posted views of the interior of the ASHK building.

Rama emphasizes that heroic patience is needed to launch controls on the judiciary.

"Finally, Judge Balliu issued the written justification for his scandalous decision to defend the representative party of a building built completely without permission and confiscated in Tirana, where the State Cadastral Agency was located, which for several years had continued to work in an old building seriously damaged by the earthquake.

How can prosecutors or judges of the republic engage in favor of illegal builders, this requires access to the brains of prosecutor Gjeli and judge Balliu, but how can a judge write that the Albanian Anti-Corruption Commission has no evidence that it cannot continue to stay in a building where the ceilings and walls are falling, this requires heroic patience in waiting for the help of the great God to awaken the organs of control and governance of the judiciary from their sleep, which is becoming increasingly dangerous even for the fate of the Justice Reform itself.

"In the photo you can see the (non)reasoning of the Balli court as well as the situation of the old ASHK building, which apparently is a normal workplace for Balli as long as there are no victims," Rama writes./CNA
