Berisha denounces/ Accusations against Rama and INSTAT

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a statement to the media denounced Prime Minister Edi Rama and INSTAT.

According to Berisha, Rama and INSTAT are deceiving by calculating goods that transit to Kosovo as exports.

"The public deception of the narco-state institutions is their true face, it is the most fundamental feature of these institutions."

In this shameful competition, public fraud constitutes a crime under the laws of the country and the laws of every state, the Statistical Institute has been engaged with the greatest force.

INSTAT, and not only it, have allowed themselves to deceive, to lie, to present to Albanians a reality opposite to the one that exists in relation to a vital sector of the economy such as exports.

Exports, due to narco-euro, the major and most determining cause is the flow of billions, billions of euros in containers, minibuses, buses and other means of drug cartels entering Albania.

This flow has brought the euro to the ground in Albania. This flow has devalued the euro by 35 percent compared to 2014. This flow has fatally hit companies that work with euros, which are all export companies.

It is very, very difficult to have an export enterprise, not to say impossible, with a 30 or 35 percent profit.

This has caused exports to continuously decline. There have been cases where it has dropped by 32 percent from one year to the next. This decline continues.

What a monstrous act Edi Rama has committed with his Institute of Statistics to hide this great drama of the Albanian economy, caused by narcoeuro.

We must not forget one thing, exports equal production, equal employment more than any other sector.

The bankruptcy of hundreds and thousands of export enterprises means the loss of tens of thousands of jobs.

I tell you, years ago, there were 80-100 thousand workers in the shoe industry alone. Of course, exports are evolving.

So, this dramatic decline has led to dramatic unemployment of Albanians and their departure from Albania.

Now, in the last 2-3 weeks, government lackey experts have started talking about increased exports. Significant increase in exports, at a time when this year too, exports have decreased by 7 percent.

What is the growth of exports according to Edi Rama and his INSTAT?

No one can believe this unscrupulous fraud. They call transit goods that pass from Durres to Kosovo exports, which are genuine imports from Kosovo.

So, Kosovo's imports, primarily oil, but also other imports, which are unloaded in Durrës to be transported via the road corridor to Kosovo, are declared re-exports by Edi Rama and his shameful institute.

In the world, this is the first time it has been heard.

"That is, imports increase in Kosovo, they turn into exports for Albania," Berisha said./ CNA
