Meeting at the DP headquarters / Berisha receives representatives from Forca

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, hosted today a meeting with representatives of the Italian political force Forca Italia.

Through a post on social media, Berisha stated that he met with MP Erica Mazzetti and that they discussed the May 11 elections.

"I had the pleasure of welcoming to the office my good and long-time friends and those of the Democratic Party, Erica Mazzetti, MP for Forza Italia, as well as the DP coordinator for Italy, Bardhok Doda, coordinator for Forza Italia, together with Dritan Beqiri and Lindita Bimin.

The meeting was also attended by DP officials Agron Gjekmarkaj, Belind Këlliçi and Enri Çeno.

We discussed at length the electoral farce of May 11 and the great work that the Democratic Party structures are doing to identify and substantiate this unprecedented manipulation.

We emphasized the necessity for Forza Italia to be a strong voice and advocate for Albanian democracy in international institutions, supporting our cause for the restoration of legal order and freedom of the vote in Albania.

Democrats and our European friends are united to stop autocracy and restore hope and democracy to the country.
