Photo + video/ Carnival, the magic of the three-day party in Shkodër

Shkodra has been hosting the 2024 Carnival for 3 days, an activity that has been organized for many years in the capital of the north.

The streets of the city of Shkodra are occupied by the colors of the holiday and thousands of citizens with Venetian masks and colorful costumes. 

The carnival has given color to Shkodra, which has welcomed citizens from all over Albania, but also from neighboring countries.

The first two days of the Carnival were dedicated to school students, who brought a wonderful atmosphere with their performances.

While this Sunday there was a spectacle with the carnival caravan or the scarecrow.

The tradition of carnivals in Shkodër dates back to 1864 and continues to be celebrated to this day./ CNA
