Elections in Kosovo/ Political parties hold closing meetings of the electoral

Kosovo will hold early elections tomorrow. While the voting process has started today in diplomatic missions, in the territory of Kosovo, voting centers will open tomorrow at 07:00 and close at 19:00.

The political parties competing in these elections will mark the end of their electoral campaign today. The Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) was the first party to end its campaign. It held its closing rally yesterday evening.

The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) will hold its final meeting for the electoral campaign at 2:00 PM, in one of the hotels in Pristina.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) will close its campaign at 17:30. The last to mark the end of the election campaign is the Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV).

According to the new Law on Elections, political entities have the right to conduct electoral campaigns until the start of the voting process, which begins tomorrow at 07:00.

2,076,290 eligible voters have registered for the elections, while within the territory of Kosovo, there will be 948 voting centers with 2,614 polling stations. A total of 22 political entities have been certified for these elections, including 18 parties, 3 pre-election coalitions, 2 civic initiatives and one independent candidate. The Commission has also accredited around 860 local and international observers to monitor the process.  /CNA
