The Prefecture of Korça has provided updates regarding the flooding situation in this region. It is reported that no new problematic situations were reported throughout the territory overnight.

The situation appears stable and under constant monitoring by the responsible structures. Meanwhile, it is also announced that work continues to strengthen the embankment of the Devoll River and clear blocked roads.

In the Korça region, no new problematic situations were reported throughout the territory overnight. The situation appears stable and under continuous monitoring by the responsible structures.

Today, work will continue as follows:

Municipality of Maliq

The strengthening of the Devoll River embankment continues.

Soil clearing continues on the Mesmal village road.

Municipality of Pogradec

Works continue on the road to the village of Dunicë, Trebinje Administrative Unit.

In cooperation between the two municipalities of Devoll-Pogradec, a chained vehicle has been provided, which will begin work today to open the road to 5 blocked villages in the Dardhas Administrative Unit.

The assessment and assessment groups are working on the damage caused.

No other problems are reported.

ARRSH – Center-East Directorate

All road axes are open.

Monitoring and salting of the most difficult spots will continue.
