Clashes in CEAZ no. 30 in Kashar/Celibashi take measures, revoke accreditation

The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, reacted immediately after the fight that occurred in CEAZ no. 30 Kashar.

Celibashi has decided to revoke the accreditation of all observers of CEAZ No. 30, Tirana District, issued for CEAZ and BCC.

Celibashi requests that CEAZ No. 30 assign one observer to each counting table for each electoral subject and in the case of coalitions up to 3 observers.

"DECISION FOR

REVOCATION OF THE ACCREDITATION OF THE OBSERVERS OF CEAZ NO. 30 TIRANA DISTRICT FOR THE ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS OF 11 MAY 2025

In support of article 19, points 1, letter "n", and 2, article 6, 7, 116 of law no. 10019, dated 29.12.2008 "Electoral Code of the Republic of Albania", as amended and Decision No. 23 dated 1.2.2023 "On the procedures and criteria for the accreditation of observers of electoral entities in the commissions of electoral administration zones, the commissions of voting centers and vote counting sites, in elections"

DECIDES:

1. Revocation of the accreditation of all observers of CEAZ No. 30, Tirana Region, issued to CEAZ and BCC.

2. CEAZ No. 30 shall assign 1 (one) observer for each counting table for each electoral subject and in the case of coalitions up to 3 observers.

3. This decision enters into force immediately and is published on the official website of the Central Election Commission.

4. An appeal may be filed against this decision with the Appeals and Sanctions Commission within 3 (three) days of its announcement," Celibashi's decision states, among other things./ CNA
