"How much money did you spend in Debar for the votes?"/ DP denounces

The Democratic Party has today made a public denunciation of an incident that it described as an electoral crime. In a press statement, the chairman of the DP National Council, Edi Paloka, published a video recorded by a party member.

In the video, the person is heard saying: "How much money did you spend in Debar for the votes?"

In the presence of the author of the video recording, Lulzim Memaçi, and with Paloka's statement, the DP states that it has taken the DP member into public defense due to the threats he has received.

Paloka added that Prime Minister Edi Rama cannot scare the Democrats.

 "Today I am here to make a complaint. You can find thousands of videos like this one, not like this one made secretly, showing electoral crime. The author of this video is Lulzim Memaçi, a member of the DP for years, a commissioner in these elections as well.

They threatened him. They told him what he did to himself with that video, you'll see. They're not satisfied with what they've done to maintain this power.

"I denounce this case and publicly defend Lulzimin. Rama can scare or bribe, but he cannot scare the Democrats. What they did was not enough, but even those who have opposed them are making threats," Paloka declared. /CNA
