The Democratic Party's candidate for deputy in the Korça region, Kristiano Koçibelli, thanked voters for their trust in him through a status on social media.

But in this status, Koçibelli also expresses some dissatisfaction with his colleagues within the DP, as he writes that "those on the closed list campaigned not for the Party, but for the open list."

Referring to the closed list of the Democratic Party for the Korça region, "the one on the closed list" turns out to be Ledina Alolli, as she is the only woman on the closed list, consisting of Ivi Kaso, Ledina Alolli and followed by Bledion Nallbati.

Kristiano Koçibelli, who also has a family connection with the closed list candidate, now elected MP, Ledina Alolli, has pointed the finger at her for an unequal campaign.

As he himself writes, Koçibelli says he ran a dignified campaign to secure as many mandates as possible for the DP, while she was clamoring for the open list.

Kristiano Koçibelli is a name that actually competed with dignity in Korça, securing even more votes than MPs who have been in office for years or candidates who have had high claims.

In the Korça district, the competition was actually uneven, with individuals blocking their areas and not allowing other candidates to gather votes, with clashes within the group, and bargaining with opponents.

In the case of Kristiano Koçibelli, we are dealing with a candidate who not only ran a dignified campaign, but also translated every day of his work into votes.

" Hello friends,

After the vote counting process for each candidate has been completed, it turns out that I received 5,206 votes, the second most voted candidate in the Korça district from the Democratic Party. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for every vote, for the support for my name, for the trust, for the conversations we have had together, for the long meetings.

I want to apologize to my family, whom I have been away from for almost 40 days, to my parents who get upset and excited by the competitions we hold.

I learned a lot from this campaign, I saw a different reality that I had never imagined, I met new people, and above all, I got to know better those I had known for years.

Throughout the campaign, I tried to be myself, a man who competes with dignity, surrounded by people with reputations and respect for the community, a campaign without insults and offenses, a campaign where the main goal was to produce as many mandates as possible for the Democratic Party. But not everyone did this like me, the one on the closed list campaigned not for the Party, but for the open list.

Friends, I will continue to be the same, loving with community, dedicated to Korca and Albania.
