"We have built a history of success"/ Minister Hoxha visits the Port

Interior Minister Ervin Hoxha paid a visit, together with British Prime Minister Starmer, to the Port of Durres.

After the meeting, Hoxha wrote on social media that he spoke with the British Prime Minister about the results of the conference in London, where the minister was present.

" Today I hosted the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Keir Starmer, on his first official visit to Albania, and we saw up close the concrete measures and border controls at the important Port of Durres. Together with Great Britain, we have built a history of success in managing illegal migration.

I spoke with Prime Minister Starmer about the results of the recent conference held in London where I participated as a representative of the Albanian side. We have built a strong and efficient cooperation with England. Their assistance has contributed to the increase of our police capacities. We now have State Police officers working in joint investigative teams with the British Police. We share the conviction that we will expand the impressive results against illegal migration in the field of the fight against organized crime ," said Hoxha./ CNA
