Prime Minister Edi Rama and his British counterpart Keir Starmer held a joint press conference this Thursday, following the meeting held a few minutes earlier at the Prime Minister's Office. In his speech, Rama praised the cooperation between the two countries, highlighting the issues on which more work is being done.

Rama also focused on the battle against illegal immigration, adding that there is a special commitment between the two states on this issue.

Rama criticized the approach towards illegal Albanian immigrants, for whom he said that it should no longer be a myth that Albanians are a problem in Britain.
