The Ministry of Education, Ogerta Manastirliu, during the analysis of education for the year 2023, did not fail to mention the PISA report on education in Albania. 

She underlined that all PISA conclusions have been taken into account and work is being done to improve the problems. 

"We analyzed the results of PISA on what we need to do more on the administration processes, on the staff, the preparation of the students. We will continue with the model tests. We have carefully analyzed what we need to do more. For once first we will be an assessment for teachers to measure the professional level of teachers", said Manastirliu. 

The PISA report published in December last year highlighted many problems in Albanian education. 

From the results of the International Student Assessment Program "PISA 2022", Albania was ranked 62nd, among the 80 countries that participated in the test.

In the test results for the PISA 2018 program, Albania was positioned in 61st place./ CNA
