Calm, determined Prime Minister Edi Rama appeared in front of the journalists as he was teased about the reward of Blendi Gonxhje with a ministry with three portfolios such as the Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Culture.

The head of the government, after the government meeting in Shengjin, said that Gonxhja is one of the most experienced public leaders and a success accepted by everyone. He defended his loyalist to the end and even praised him for the work done so far.

The close friendship between Edi Rama and Blendi Gonxhe is known. Before giving him the important position of Director of Transport, Gonxhe was the vice-mayor of Tirana Municipality in 2000, where Rama led this municipality. He has always been known as a loyalist of the head of government.

Blendi Gonxhja was born in Tirana, on June 15, 1970. In 1989, Blendi Gonxhja graduated from the Artistic High School "Jordan Misja" in Tirana and in 1993, graduated from the Higher Institute of Arts (now UAB).

From August 2015, Blendi Gonxhja joined the new team of the Municipality of Tirana led by Mayor Erion Veliaj as General Director of Enterprise No. 1 of the City Workers.

Afterwards, Blendi Gonxhja also held the position of Director of the Parks and Recreation Agency in the Municipality of Tirana.

Blendi Gonxhja, two years ago, also appeared in the Special Prosecutor's Office. After being called to SPAK for questioning, the head of DPSHTRR, Blendi Gonxhja clarified that he was called for a verification for a third matter, which is not related to his function in DPSHTRR.
